Alice May Oseman is the creator, illustrator, author, and artist of Solitaire, Radio Silence, Nick and Charlie, This Winter, Heartstopper, I Was Born For This and Loveless. She is also the writer and a executive producer of the Netflix adaptation of Heartstopper, alongside Patrick Walters.
Biography
She was born in Kent, England. They completed a degree in English at Durham University in 2016 and is currently a full-time writer and illustrator. Alice can usually be found staring aimlessly at computer screens, questioning the meaninglessness of existence, or doing anything and everything to avoid getting an office job. Alice's first book, Solitaire, was published when she was nineteen. Their most popular work being the 'Heartstopper' series making a total of £5.5 million in the first six months of 2022 alone.
