Harvey Greene Grammar School for Girls, commonly referred to as "Higgs", is a fictional secondary school attended by many characters in Solitaire, Radio Silence, and Heartstopper. Higgs is an all-girls school through year 11 and accepts students of all genders in sixth form, much like Truham.
Higgs' motto is "Confortamini in Domino et in potentia virtutis eius".
The school’s uniform consists of a blazer, pleated skirt, and tie, all in light grey, as well as black socks or stockings. The school’s crest can be found on the tie and the left pocket of the blazer.[1]
After the events of Solitaire (in February, 2011), most Higgs students transferred to either Truham or the Academy. However, Higgs has since been rebuilt, meaning new students would be accepted in the years after Solitaire.
