Jane Spring (née Driscoll), portrayed by Georgina Rich, is a minor character in Solitaire, Heartstopper, This Winter, and Nick and Charlie. She is the wife of Julio Spring and the mother of Charlie Spring, Tori Spring, and Oliver Spring.

Jane is of average height, with faded brown hair, light blue eyes, and a slanted nose. She's shown to wear sweaters often, and has a slender build.
Personality[]
Despite her intentions to be a good mother, Jane is shown to be somewhat inconsiderate and dismissive of her children's mental health problems, referring to it as "drama" and "silly" in conversations. She seems to have the most difficult relationship with her oldest son, Charlie, who deals with a plethora of mental health problems, one of them being that he feels like a burden. This problem is shown to stem from Jane easily getting annoyed with Charlie's needs, and Julio is often shown having to break the fight between them, though Jane admits that she always says the wrong thing to Charlie. Jane is also shown to be rather distrustful of her son, believing that Charlie arriving after curfew meant that he was having sex with his boyfriend, Nick, which wasn't true. Fights have gotten so intense that Charlie had left Christmas Day to temporarily stay at Nick's until he cooled off. After a few months of getting psychiatric help, Jane is shown to be more trusting to Charlie, hugging him and apologizing for her lack of empathy. It is also implied that her issues with her children may stem from the abuse she suffered from her own mother.
