Kit Sebastian Connor is a British actor. He portrays Nick Nelson in the Netflix adaptation of Heartstopper.
Biography
He was born in the South London Borough of Croydon.[1] A local of Purley,[2] he attended the Hayes Primary School in Kenley and then Whitgift School in South Croydon,[3][4] where he completed his A Levels in drama, English literature and history.
Connor is know for Get Santa (2014), Rocketman (2019) and Little Joe (2019).
Trivia
- Unlike his character, Nick, Kit was not fluent in French, and had to learn it for the second season.
- Like his character, Nick, Kit is bisexual.
- Following the release of Heartstopper's first season, groups of people on Twitter accused him of "queerbaiting" due to not revealing his sexuality at the time. On October 31, 2022, he returned to Twitter briefly to reveal he was bisexual while also belittling people for forcing him to come out.[5]
